Eventsona Financial Dashboard: Revenue & Payouts
Master the Eventsona financial dashboard: track GBP revenue, understand fees, request Stripe payouts, and export clear figures for your UK books.
Why the financial dashboard exists
Ticket price is not take-home pay. The financial dashboard shows revenue, fees, refunds, and balances so you can request payouts through Stripe Connect with fewer surprises.
Step 1: Open Financials
In the organiser dashboard, open Financials. If you manage more than one organisation, select the correct organisation before you read balances.
Step 2: Learn the headline figures
- Total / gross revenue: Ticket sales before you net everything down
- Fees: Platform and processing amounts (labels reflect pass-through vs absorb)
- Refunds: Money returned to buyers
- Available balance: What you can request for payout
- Pending balance: Funds still settling or held
Step 3: Filter by period and organisation
Switch 7 / 30 / 90 day views (or the ranges offered) to spot seasonality. Keep organisation filters accurate so you never request a payout against the wrong entity.
Step 4: Read charts for pattern, not vanity
Revenue-over-time and top events by revenue help you see which formats fund the business. Pair with per-event analytics for ticket-mix detail.
Step 5: Request a payout
- Confirm Stripe Connect is complete for the organisation
- Click Request Payout
- Enter an amount no greater than available balance
- Submit and track status under recent payouts
Payout timing follows Stripe and your connected bank. For a plain-English walkthrough, read payouts and Stripe Connect explained.
Step 6: Understand fee strategy on events
When creating an event, choose whether buyers see a service fee at checkout (pass-through) or you absorb fees from payout while listing a cleaner headline price. Align the choice with how you market GBP prices—see Pricing.
Step 7: Export for accounting
Download CSV financial reports monthly. Reconcile against refunds and payout history before you close books.
Best practices
- Review balances weekly during heavy on-sale periods
- Do not spend pending funds as if they were cleared
- Document refund reasons so finance and support stay aligned
- Limit financial permissions to trusted roles—see team management
Frequently asked questions
Why is available balance lower than ticket sales?
Fees, refunds, and pending settlement. Always trust available balance for payout requests.
Can staff request payouts?
Only if their organisation role and permissions allow financial access. Prefer Owner/Admin for payout actions.
Where do I learn fee amounts before I sell?
Check Pricing and confirm fee behaviour when you configure the event.
