This Refund policy applies across the Eventsona platform—event discovery and ticketing, venue marketplace bookings, organizer tools on business.eventsona.com, and the Eventsona mobile apps. Product-specific detail for ticket orders is also in Refunds (ticketing).
1. Who sets refund rules
Nothing in this Refund Policy affects your statutory rights under applicable consumer protection laws.
Refund eligibility and time limits are set by event organizers (for tickets) and venue owners (for venue bookings). Eventsona does not set these rules; we process refunds according to the policy shown on each event or venue at the time of purchase.
For organizers and venue owners: Eventsona may hold customer payments until after the event or booking and a short refund window. Funds become payable to you only when eligibility conditions are met. See our Terms of Service and Payments & payouts for payout and fund-holding terms.
2. Events (tickets)
- Time limits: many events allow refunds only until a certain number of days before the event (for example 7 or 14 days). The exact window is shown on the event page and at checkout.
- Full vs partial refunds: organizers may allow full or partial refunds. The refund amount is shown when you request a refund.
- Fees: platform and payment processing fees may be non-refundable in whole or in part, where permitted by applicable law, depending on the organizer's policy.
- Free registrations: free tickets may be cancelled according to organizer settings; no payment refund applies.
3. Venue bookings
- Cancellation policy: each venue has its own cancellation and refund policy (for example full refund if cancelled 30 days before, partial refund if 14 days before).
- Refund amount: refunds are processed according to the venue's stated policy. Any applicable platform fees are handled as described on the booking.
- Deposits and milestones: some venues require deposits or staged payments; refund treatment for each stage is shown at booking.
4. How to request a refund
Request a refund from your account: Dashboard → Orders (events) or My Venue Bookings (venues). Select the order or booking and follow the refund option. In the mobile app, use Tickets or Bookings. Refunds are typically processed within a few business days; timing may depend on your bank or card issuer.
5. Cancellations by organizer or venue
If an event is cancelled by the organizer, ticket holders will generally be entitled to a refund of the ticket price paid, excluding any non-refundable fees where clearly stated at the time of purchase.
If a venue booking is cancelled by the venue owner, the customer will be refunded in accordance with the venue's cancellation policy or as otherwise required by law. Refunds are processed to the original payment method where possible.
6. Disputes & chargebacks
If you have a dispute about a refund, contact the organizer or venue first. We may request additional information to review refund or chargeback claims. Chargebacks (disputes raised with your card issuer) may result in account restrictions. See our Terms of Service for more on refunds and chargebacks.
