This page supplements our Refund policy with ticketing-specific guidance for events on Eventsona (eventsona.com, the Eventsona mobile apps, and organizer checkout widgets). Ordafy Limited operates Eventsona; event organizers set most refund rules that apply to a specific ticket purchase.

    1. Overview

When you buy tickets through Eventsona, your contract for attending the event is with the organizer, not with Ordafy Limited as the event host. Eventsona provides ticketing software, payment processing, and order management. Refund eligibility depends on the policy shown on the event page and at checkout for that order.

Nothing in this page affects your statutory rights under applicable consumer protection laws (for example the UK Consumer Rights Act 2015 or equivalent laws in your country).

    2. Organizer refund policy

Each published event may define its own refund window, partial refund rules, and non-refundable fees. The policy displayed on the event listing and confirmed at checkout applies to that order. Common settings include:

    • Time limits: refunds allowed only until a set number of days or hours before the event start time.
    • Full vs partial refunds: organizers may offer a percentage refund or credit instead of a full refund.
    • Non-refundable tickets: some ticket tiers may be marked non-refundable where permitted by law and clearly disclosed before purchase.
    • Fees: platform and payment processing fees may be non-refundable in whole or in part, depending on the organizer's policy and applicable law.

    3. Ticket types & transfers

Free registrations, paid tickets, multi-day passes, add-ons, and promotional codes may each have different refund treatment. If ticket transfer or resale is enabled for an event, transferring a ticket does not automatically entitle the new holder to a refund—the original order's refund policy still applies unless the organizer states otherwise.

Check-in, QR codes, and order confirmations are issued per order. Do not share ticket codes publicly; lost or misused codes are handled according to the organizer's policy and our Terms of Service.

    4. Event cancellations

If an organizer cancels an event, eligible ticket holders are notified by email and/or in-app notification. Refunds are generally processed for the ticket price paid, excluding any non-refundable fees that were clearly stated at purchase. Processing typically begins within a few business days; your bank or card issuer may take additional time to post the credit.

If an organizer fails to deliver an event without a proper cancellation (for example a "no show"), contact the organizer first through your order details. You may escalate to Eventsona support if you cannot reach a resolution.

    5. Postponements & changes

If an event is postponed, rescheduled, or moved (including online/hybrid format changes), the organizer may offer to honor existing tickets, provide credits, or issue refunds according to their stated policy and applicable law. Material changes should be communicated through Eventsona notifications; your options will depend on what the organizer enables for that event.

    6. How to request a refund

Web: sign in at eventsona.com, open Dashboard → Orders (or your ticket confirmation email), select the order, and follow the refund option if available.

Mobile app: open the Eventsona app, go to Tickets or Orders, select the event order, and request a refund where the organizer allows it.

If self-service refund is not available, contact the organizer through the event page or message thread, or email hello@eventsona.com with your order number.

    7. For organizers

Organizers configure refund windows in the Eventsona Business app when creating ticket types. Customer payments may be held until after the event and any configured refund window; see Payments & payouts and our Terms of Service for fund-holding and payout terms. Organizers are responsible for communicating cancellation and refund decisions to attendees promptly.

    8. Disputes & chargebacks

If you disagree with a refund decision, contact the organizer first. Chargebacks raised with your card issuer may result in account restrictions while the dispute is investigated. See our Terms of Service and Refund policy for more detail.

    9. Contact
